Italwings are Luigi Ramundo and Miyuki Haseya. We specialise in cultural and gourmet trips to Italy.
Luigi comes from Lari, a small medieval town near Pisa, in the beautiful Tuscan countryside where – on 8 hectares of farm land owned with his brothers – they cultivate olive tree, vineyards and peaches, but, most importantly, he has a passion for cherries. Please don't forget to attend for the Sagra delle ciliegie (the cherry festival) that takes place on the last weekend of May and first weekend of June in Lari. Of course, will be there to welcome you!
Now living in London, Luigi has not forgotten his Italian culinary roots and enjoys cooking and also participating with the Italian State Tourist Board in London and the Italian Embassy in London with their special evening presentations on Italian cuisine and regional food.
Luigi also has a soft spot for Italian ice-cream and picking Porcini mushrooms (Boletus&Cep) at a secret woodland location in Berkshire. Look at the photo below and see how many he picked last year!
