The San Zeno is a charming old fashioned hotel residence occupying a historical building by the ancient river city walls of Verona, close to Castelvecchio and less than 12 minutes’ walk from the Arena and Piazza Bra’. An original gateway door leads to a vine covered inner courtyard where the bedrooms are located in the main villa or in one of the two adjoining houses that surround the courtyard. Under the same family ownership for several generations the San Zeno is a favourite place for visiting opera singers. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning and old-style furniture but also modernised facilities. Breakfast is served in the atmospheric lounge. No lift. Car parking is available. |
